Can you believe another bassoon malfunction!?! I got my axe fixed last wednesday and now it is not working again. The whisper key keeps sticking and some keys lift up but don't go back down. Last time it was because of the dry, cold weather; the wood shrank and the keywork got out of whack. It looks like it is the same problem this time. I am supposed to play 2 more rehearsals and a concert yet this week. So back to Scott's I go on Friday. I'll have to find another bassoon to play on tomorrow night.
